Rubbish.

We started 4-4-2.

We were getting over ran in midfield, so we change it to 4-5-1 to try and get the midfield back.

Then the player we had last season who we know is a quality player comes on and wins them the game.

The same player that we can't afford coming off their bench.

Thats the difference between the 2 teams plus they had one of the championships best Strikers missing.

Burnley are a much better side than us.

Rubbish

We defended too deep from the off, invite them on and you will eventually be over run, push them back, close down and harry as a team, dont allow them time on the ball and the game changes.

We did these things against Charlton and won, we didnt today and lost.

Sometimes you have got to be brave to win games and believe in your players instead of saying to Burnley "we will revert to a more negative 4,5,1" because even though we are 4 games unbeaten i havent the testicles to try and attack and force the play at home.

He has a lot of bad days at the office doesn't he.

If it's 'flat' Dave, it's your job to lift it. If things aren't working, then change them.

You sounded dull, uninspired and de-motivated today. Your team was a reflection of this.

Sort it out.

Did Stuart Gray have the day off today? gary megson

Dave Jones did not react in time to change our formation to stop them playing out from the back and into the midfield, he was at fault today. It does change the fact we are still at least 3 players short, left back, creative midfielder, and a striker. Clean sheets and work ethic have been good recently but we need goals to get points and we are still well short.

Let's hope we get some signings and get out of trouble with time to spare, this team IMO will go to the wire and we have been there before.

Burnley have a better squad, that's true but let's be honest, Jones got it wrong today with team selection and tactics.

You have to credit him when he gets it right (three wins on the bounce) and be honest when he gets it wrong.

We allowed them to play and their confidence grew.

Going to 4-5-1 to stop the away team playing sums it up for me - we should be taking the attacking initative at home, not looking to stop them playing.

It's a worry if we are effectively looking for a draw at home against a mid table side.

make them defend on the back foot ala charlton ,don't sit and let them come on to you ,not rocket science is it ,at the chalton game i was very impressed by the teams work ethic, thats what won us the game ,then we revert to the sit and hope performance today ,why the difference ,we have players capable of winning games ,but it won't happen if you don't match the oposing team ,who decides which way we play the players or Dj ,either the players are not following instructions, or dj got it wrong again ,either way it falls on the manager as if they are'nt listening his man management is crap ,or he is getting it wrong ,
