Two Reasons For our Improvement

Recommended Posts

The main reason for the improvement is that we're having a bit of luck. Still a very average side, that will do well to finish above 4th from bottom unless we recruit better in January. No way will we score enough goals with COG and Madine upfront.

Never underestimate how much luck plays a part. We all here a bout a winning mentality but theres also a losing mentality and thats what these players need to shake off. While they may not be champion league quality they can all play better than they have been they just need to believe it. Those strokes of luck helped us pick up points and the team starting to belive in itself a bit more. Long way to go but its a start

He's not played a competitive game for months, what did you expect?

We did win with him in the side again though, on a more positive note.

I wasn't trying to be negative, just observant.

Pleased he's back and 90mins will do him the world of good.

Biggest reason is that bothroyd isn't playing, we've got 11 players giving their all and not 10.

Scapegoat post.

Reda seems to inspire others also.

McCabe is good when he's got time on the ball.

Prutton got stuck in.

COG and Madine are still a worry but did a good job today.

I'd like to see a quick striker who can turn quick, get some shots off.

We kept the ball out of the net for 2 games in a row.

I love Reda, but he does need to engage his brain sometimes. I thought he just needed to stay with his man rather than dive in, he does this whether he has played no games or twenty.

But when he's played twenty he usually gets the ball first then snaps the man after lol

just got back ,was suprised today by how much work ethic was put in by all players we still need a bit of polish ,as a few bad passes could have been punished .overall was quite happy with the win ,long way to go yet but another step up the ladder today ,so well done to all ,
