bigdan2003
There isn't any flooding around the ground, the river is fine...no alerts / risks of it rising today. Only flood warning in Sheff at the moment is the river sheaf and porter brook...not high risk at the moment. River levels are predicted to be lower than yesterday. Guest Lawrie Maddens Hump
This. Unless the Don is at high levels we have a perfect natural outlet. Additionally, the pitch slopes from Leppings Lane to Penistone Road. I'm assuming we have had the foresight to put taupaulin down? Let this talk cease please. A bit of rain does not signal the end of the world!!! UTO You're too late that was yesterday. Where you been? I've been called worse... Likewise! Wonder if the W/ITE Lido carpark is open, or will today give the Trafific Wardens the chance to earn a big pre christmas bonus ??.
theowlsman
It's not raining here, the sun's out, and it's 12 degrees C. I'll be having a glass of Pimms at lunch out on the terrace overlooking the beach.
Shifty Powers
I kinda wish it was off tbh. That way I can try and sleep this flu off by staying in bed all day. If you see someone shivering their boobies off on the KOP, your best bet is to stay away.

Ever the pessimist
Our lass just asked, 'will the pitch be logged?'. No mention of water so wondering what other kind of 'logged' pitch she is concerned about
