Guest intercity0wl
Nothing at all to do with peopkes views on his ability, thats been discussed to death already, but just seen these pics from Saturday, 100% playing for the shirt, and after reading on here over the last few seasons (and rightly so), people saying they just wished the players had the same determination and desire as the supporters, well here's the proof of one who does. Orlando_Trustful
He was like a wild man on Saturday, I could imagine him trashing the changing rooms after the match in celebration.
Bluesteel
How horrible does he look in the second pic? Not even phased by Perkins' boz eyes
Bluesteel
I can't remember these "flash points" though, was it after the final whistle? It's amusing anyway! They wouldn't have a clue what he was saying to them. Edited December 17, 2012 by Bluesteel

ozzieowl
He's a man mountain. Passionate to the hilt. If rest of players felt the same they would fight their way out of this mess. We need an angry Llera icon
Pompeyowl
Hahaha! He's a bit of a liability, but I'd rather have 11 reliabilities with Llera's passion than 11 players safe from the ref tat don't give a poo poo.
TodwickOwl
Second picture could be the same as the shining - llera's head poking through an axe-made hole in the door. "Here's Miggy!!!" Someone get on photoshop..

S18_Owl
MoM on saturday Agree. He was a beast on Saturday. Blocking numerous shots, clearing off the line and winning headers left right and centre. More of the same please.

just visiting
Yeah, with his protective head guard, long sleeve underarmour and gloves, he's a tough'en all right. Softest centre half I've seen years, how embarrasing when he went down after a flailing arm caught his head guard.
Guest wewantsturrockback
agree with post above, would rather 11 llera's with passion. For me, players like him and Reda - you know they have that liability streak in them, no doubt, but on their game they are beasts, they can defend (with occassional error) offer a big threat going forward at set pieces - I'd take the odd calamity for the passion and threat they also give us. And you can see how much they love it, score in front of KOP its like they've just scored an fa cup winner and I love it, just wish more players showed it. Handball_!!
I've always liked him but you do have to question his ability at times. Having said that I said to my mate on Saturday, he does look like he's getting used to the championship a bit more now. The free kick where he left his position to nip back and follow Tudgay just as they were taking it then prevented a certain goal... he wouldn't have had the wherewithall to do that a while ago, so he's getting there for sure. NeonLeon
Lee Bullen Mk2. Not got bags of ability and drops a boll0ck more often than not. But he bleeds blue and white, and leaves everything on the pitch.

just visiting
You sure, looked like it grazed his chin strap to me. Llera rubbed his jaw first then kind of moved up to his eye!!
just visiting
ask beccio and that pretend tough guy pig how soft he his He assualted both those players with forearms and elbows, that doesn't make him tough. Centre halves wearing protective head gear should be abolished.
