heppers
In fairness weplayed pretty poor in a lot of games last year but still won. If he gets 10 results like todays we will be singing his name.
Dagmeister
One scabby win doesn't wipe out all the defeats and dross that's been served up repeatedly this season. That said I really do hope that this kicks our season off and if that keeps Jones in the job; fine. We need two solid midfielder in sharpish though. ReadingOwl
The damage was done in the summer. You can't make a silk purse out of these players. Today's result was pretty irrelevant to me. I've pretty much accepted our fate this season, as it seems has Milan (so far). We've had this argument over and over again. Complaining, whinging and sniping is going to achieve bugger all. He (and others?) have made a dogs breakfast of this season. Let them sort it out, for better or worse. Unless anyone else can think of someone better - and have access to Milan's cheque book. I'm sticking.
Mr Farrell
flip me no. Aside from a very welcome 3 points, I'm more convinced than ever that Jones has and will continue to make a right dogs dinner of this season. Awful from start to finish today, and we didn't even look like a decent league 1 side.

vulva
Either sack him now or back him properly in January. No good fannying about with lame loan signings anymore. The situation needs some money chucking at it.
sheffield_dave
We need to put a run together. Our last 2 wins were back to back but came in the middle of 2 horrendous winless streaks. Today means flip all if we don't beat Charlton and kick on from there. He will have done enough once he wins enough games to get us out and away from the relegation zone. SWFC_Liam
He's earned himself next week, we lose that then Milan is going to have a decision to make.
Guest chuckie4570
He looked completely disinterested tonight..... all his coaches were geeing the players up and shouting instructions. Maybe he finally realises his times up!

I'm sticking. agree. his signings have been terrible, the best we can hope for is finishing 5th or 6th bottom. the question is who can get the most out of these cloggers until the end of the season? i don't know who else is out there to replace jones, and he clearly hasn't lost the dressing room, we just lack quality and are poor tactically. robster_owl
Are these three points vs Barnsley enough to keep his job ? The jury is still out all around him I'd say, it's a step in the right direction but everybody could get silly and claim "yes" and then we could lose the next few on the bounce... Time will tell whether he has 'started' to do enough, from this evening onwards. I'll let you know after the Hull City match 12th January. So between now and then they all really need to put shifts in, create and throw themselves in the way of everything.

Captain Scarlett
A very poor performance from us tonight but I'll take the 3 points thanks. It'v probably bought DJ another 3 games or so which means he will be in charge come the January window. He needs either sacking or backing ( financially ). Its no good "limping along" like we are. Just keep in mind who we actually beat today.......BARNSLEY !!
robswfc
Just barely, but yes. We should get behind him now over the Christmas period, and see where we are at the start of the transfer window. If we get 4+ points out of the next 4, I think we've got to give him the transfer window and the rest of the season
