It could turn nasty

Recommended Posts

Its obvious that up until recently the for and against Jones camp was probably equally divided but its fairly evident that thats changed now and from what i've read on Owlstalk its apparent that most fans feel its time for him to go.Ive nothing against Jones and obviously he will always be well thought of for what he did last season but unfortunately thats history now and its clearly not working out for him.

What i'd personally hate to see is the crowd really turn against him but I fear this is going to happen soon if a change isn't made now so please MM do the decent thing and tell Jones thank you and goodbye before things take a turn for the worse.

Don't believe everything you read on owlstalk. The ones with the more negative opinions tend to shout loudest.

I am amazed that Dave Jones has not been sacked yet. Its a results based business and this seasons results have been abysmal.

Look at Ipschitt, they were in bigger trouble than us, got shut of Jewell and hey presto they are now flying up the table with a different man in charge.

I dont want to see any bloke lose his job, but I do want Wednesday to give themselves a fighting chance of stopping up.

That change needs to happen right now in my opinion.

I personally think if Saturday had have been a comfortable defeat, Jones would have been sacked by now. However, given the bizarre/unfortunate circumstances surrounding the Bristol City game, it would have been harsh.

A defeat on Saturday though, and it probably will be good night Jonesy

shouting for jones to be sacked at games is tantamount to questioning the chairman and we cant be going upsetting him ...can we ?...."trust me or ask me to leave "

Just words from MM. He has a great deal invested in this club, and the one thing you can be sure of, regardless of what he says, is that he won't leave this club until it's in his own best interest - which coincidentally, will probably be in the clubs best interest too. He can't just 'leave' - he has to find a buyer. He can't stop investing in the club or he won't get a buyer.

Anyone actually think we might have gone up a year to early and perhaps, we didn't really have everything we needed squad wise in place to actually push on.

Ie the right mix hence the huge volume of inward transfers. Which if I'm honest has probably caused this.

I think MM is going along the lines of "Noone gets relegated by Xmas"

If a new manager is gonna turn us around then he'll do it whether it's now or January.

He's giving DJ every concievable chance to turn it around which is only fair. I do think we're getting very close to the axe falling now though.

I don't normally buy this 'promoted too early' stuff, but even if I did you cannot say we did.

We got 93 points and looked unstoppable for the latter part of the campaign. If the pigs or MK Dons had have gone up they would have been far less prepared than us.

Look at Huddersfield, they were in a worse than us overall last season (with Jordan Rhodes) but look at them now.

15 defeats in 19 would say it would've been totally justified, regardless of what happened against Bristol City.
