We haven't got anywhere so why not stick by Dave Jones, we have been so unlucky this season and you can't blame the manager for that.

So basically we had a load of rubbish managers.

Maybe now would be a good time to hire someone decent that doesn't need to be fired.

Lets do a Swansea - they've been through a few managers in recent season, because their managers keep getting poached by bigger higher clubs, and they keep hiring new managers that continue the progress.

Ten of those were under a different board with a load of debt. Almost a totally different club. The debt held us back whereas Milan's change of manager reaped rewards.

3 in 2 years and counting .....while i know the financial situation is far better i would question the team position is any better than 3 years ago under strafford.if we do go down it will have been a very short term reward.

Yes Dave that's why we've not done anything for so long, its the number of managers we've had.

Nothing to do with £30m of debt and our constant struggle to keep our heads above water for over a decade.

I agree, the owners in the past effectively crippled us in every way possible. Sacking and changing managers was just a by product of the state we were in.

No real investment = no decent players = no results = manager getting the sack and then the cycle continues year after year.

so where is the debt now?

just wondering as the financial backing of the current incumbent has been on par with the days when we were in debt

So it's not really a totally different club is it?

no debt..no investment go figure but obviously it's the managers fault

The problem is not so much the money that Jones had in the summer, which I would imagine was considerably more than the likes of Laws had in real terms, but that this was being spread around replacing two thirds of the whole squad.
