2hoots
The season has ended – we’ve stayed up on the last day by the skin of our teeth – and DJ is still the Manager. The new season awaits. What should MM do? For what it’s worth, assuming the above scenario I think that DJ must now be sacked. I’ll explain. 1. By previously heaping all the blame on the players, he’ll be claiming all the credit as the ‘saviour’. 2. He’ll go on about how he turned it round conveniently forgetting that it was him who orchestrated the mess in the first place. 3. He’ll probably have a team with no confidence either in him or themselves. 4. Crowds will have really declined. 5. He will already have lost the trust of the majority of the fanbase. 6. MM will want to see a push for promotion, and the previous season will have shown DJ to be incapable of it. Just my thoughts - what are yours?. By the way, I hope this scenario never arises, as I think he should be sacked now.
since59owe
Unless he walks barefooted around Sheffield's boundry in sack cloth & ashes tomorrow, he's not worthy.

Freshfish
..ditto...if we stay up in a manner that is positive I would want to keep stability...and DJ. But I would want backroom staff changes and a clear plan for further development.
NeonLeon
If we stay up. We could probably do with a Director of Football type to vet any signings.
