How do we pick ourselves up from this?

Saturday was mad, how we didn't come away with three points I do not know. Luck is truly against us, never have I seen a run where incident after incident doesn't go our way.

How do the players recover from this? They have failed to bounce back all season and I really think

next week will just be another disappointment. I genuinely don't know where three points are going to come from, espeically is we can't beat Bristol at home. We looked doomed and this season has been one big flip up, I don't think the players are mentally strong enough to turn it around and I think DJ doesn't know either. No matter how well we play we still lose and it's just crazy.

Couldn't face relegation, it would finish me off. Is it wrong for us to start worrying about the drop? Because as each game passes the more realistic it seems.

If I were a player Id be upbeat after today

We only lost through bizarre circumstances

Overall we played 4-4-2, went at em, played two wingers, strikers scored, have never seen so many bursts into the box from midfield like we had today

We didnt get beat on footballing terms - we got shafted by circumstance

We did ok today because we were playing bristol city and they are poo poo, and we still lost.

But after 7 defeats on the bounce, surely you'd be thinking, what the hell do we have to do to win a game? It really does take some strong characters and players who have the mental toughness to stay confident and turn it around, but as shown this season we don't have those sort of players.

The squad isn't good enough - we cannot address that until January even if a new man comes in.

I have absolutely no confidence that Jones, having failed in two transfer windows to recruit the players we needed, will succeed if given a third window.

New management and coaching faces need to be brought in to freshen it up and reassure every squad member that they have a clean slate, without favouritism, to prove themselves between now and January....surely we have nothing to lose in this respect? It will allow a new man to come in and assess the squad, identify targets and make some decisions.

Can MM gamble by allowing Dave 'I've never been in this position before' Jones to reverse out of what could be one of the most spectacular failures in any season in our history?

As said, the players need to show some character to turn it around. This is where a couple of wise heads would benefit us massively - the introduction of Prutton has been a step in the right direction.

Seems no matter what we do at the minute, we can't buy a point, never mind a win.

Tudders might slip us an own goal or two in next week, for old times sake.

Don't think it's as easy as that Neil. You might be more upbeat about the performance, but losing to a team we should be beating, after 'playing well', must kill even more than just getting smashed. At least getting smashed it's 'back to the drawing board'.

Defeats are defeats, but that could be demoralising, to be so close against a relegation rival too and have the points snatched away is a huge suckerpunch.

I think the only or best way to pick the players and fans up, is by getting a new man in with passion and promising him funds in January. We need a lift and we need one now.
