Blueblood
For weeks ppl have been clamoring for O'Grady to get back in the side. Well he's feckin gash and showed today why he couldn't get a L1 team last year. The worst thing is he got a feckin standing ovation when he went off what was that all about?? Bothroyd gets booed every week no matter what and Cog gets an ovation. Bothroyd has more talent in one foot than Cog does in his whole body Edited December 8, 2012 by Blueblood
Guest 713owl
Jones has ruined COG and most players who were high on confidence at the start of the season. Any player would be ruined how he has been treated this season.

heppers
Cog must prefer not to score. Whenever he does he gets dropped.

Guest totemowl
because trying and failing is completely different to not trying and failing. No it's not. End result in both cases is zero points. Football is about being succesful, and to be successful means getting points.

And if thats what you really believe rather than just being argumentative why are you still supporting DJ? Gude
apart from held the ball up all game, used his strength to get others involved in play and put in a flipping big shift. played well, not sure what game you were watching.
WayneTheOwl
Jonees has not ruined COG, there was roger all there to ruin in the first place (and I want Jones out!). League 1 player at the very best, stats etc do not lie!

And if thats what you really believe rather than just being argumentative why are you still supporting DJ? I won't boo our players but I won't clap our failures, so I don't really go along with those sentiments. I do know that failure will see us relegated. As for me just being argumentative perhaps you shouldn't put crass arguments out there about trying and failing, as though it's as acceptable as picking up points. As for me supporting DJ, what are you referring to? Perhaps you'd like to voice your opinion against whatever I've said, wherever i've said it. League 1 player at the very best, stats etc do not lie! Agreed, although its not even about stats for me. it's plain to see that O Grady is a very hard working bloke, but he just lacks the quality needed at this level, slow, awful first touch, frightened of the penalty area. Strong lad, decent enough in the air, and that makes him useful in league 1, but just like several other players in our team, that's as high as he should go. I watched the game that he lost the ball a lot, didn't hold the ball up very well, couldn't control the ball when it was played to him and had his shooting boots on the wrong feet But yeah at least he ran around a lot

I seriously cannot remember apart from a corner, the last time he was actually in the penalty area. A total waste of space. Its alright running around making it look like your trying but FFS its not good enough. I like Ryan Lowe and would preferred him over COG in this league, any day! TheBoyBeevers
Definitely got a bit of the Emile Heskey about him. Always amusing to see him absolutely bosh other players though- it was a rare moment of entertainment today when he went shoulder to shoulder with their skinny lad Bryan and just demolished him like a doll getting run over by a lorry. Guest Brammy (On The Move)
I thought he was particularly rubbish when he held the defender off in the area and put a sitter on a plate for super gary who then missed it. I thought neither of them were top notch today but why does COG have to be a world beater to avoid criticism when others don't?
Guest JDaltonS6
Without him we'd have been losing the ball even more often than we already were. He can only hold it up for so long when nobody helps him out. And he looked the most comfortable finisher in the warm up too, just needs confidence
SquirrelSlingshot
Seemed a bit sloppy in the second half, but created two fantastic chances for Madine.
i used to be sc_owl
As usual COGBA worked his socks off and created some great chances for Madine. COGBA is one of the most selfless players I've seen in a Wednesday shirt for some time. I'd pick him over Bothroyd every day of the week.

Totally agree, he does all the donkey work which just isn't appreciated by some on here.
