Young Magpies out on loan.

Recommended Posts

Looks like Pardew is wanting to get some of his younsters who played last night a bit of game time. Wonder if we'll see a return for James Tavernier, or any more from this list coming here in Jan?

If Pardew still thinks Tavernier is a full back he is barking .

Dont think its a time for youngsters at s6 we have plenty of our own.We need some battle hardened pros to come and add experience and steady the ship.

Agree totally...but i have seen that Shane Ferguson a few times recently (on TV admitadly) and my mate is a season ticket holder for Newcastle and has an habbit of showing me everything that is good about them and this lad is very quick and has a stonking delivery from wide areas.

His first touch against Man Utd in the league cup at Old Trafford set up either Ba/Cisse with a a ball even COG would have failed not to score from!!

Agree, especially loanees. Loaning players has a few positives and can be useful to cover injuries etc, but for the past few years we rely on them week in/week out. Tavernier & Ranger wouldn't bring anything else that we haven't already got, and thats been the problem with most of the signings in pre-season; Mattock, Lee, Maguire etc.

With the wages we're paying on Bothroyd/Sidibe we could have easily put the money towards a few key signings in January.
