rob_21026
Never sat in an home end there but I managed to get a job in their exec lounge catering for derby game in 2005. Thought it'd be only way to see the game as away end was sold out. Turned up and did flip all, watched the game for free and got paid at the end of it! They knew i was an owl straight away but there were loads of us working there so turned out being a good laugh giving em some abuse. Guest Wirrowl
I've watched Wednesday from the Anfield Kop (twice), the Trent End and in amongst the Derby home fans. Of those, Forest was the scariest.

Yes, the ball boys used to use camels to fetch the ball. The cricket pavilion was MILES away.

I was on Tge Forrest end too that day, old bloke next to me saying for ages about cloughie, he's got to go now he's past it, Wednesday scored and it just erupted I apologized to him and went bonkers. Guest 713owl
I've never stepped foot into that shithole and I never will. I hate comments like that, why would you not go there, probably someone bitter who has never been able to get a ticket or too scared to go but still a comment like this does sound a little thick. I read them every year when ticket news is discussed on here for the derby. The same people have no football intelligence and would go and watch wednesday again franchises like mk franchise fc, cardiff the red dragons franchise or worse still buy foot and drink at the new wembley if we ever get there. To answer the question ive been in the away end for every derby this mellenium but was in the south for the 2-0 defeat and the 1-1 hirst equaliser. I've never tried to get a ticket and I'm certainly not scared, I just choose not to go as it would make my skin crawl. P.S. I suggest you do a spelling course before you start talking about intelligence and thick people. Edited December 4, 2012 by chris55515
