H2Owl
Judging by the (over)reaction on here it's clear many people didn't see us losing today and fully expected the 3 points. Please use this thread to voice your opinion on how losing 1-0 away from home, to the team with the best home record in Europe is a disgrace. Also use this thread to batter on about how there was no positives AT ALL from today because we lost. Jones out blah blah you get the drift. Please don't use any common sense before posting. Paddyowl
Todays result was'nt a disgrace, it was a better all round performance and a narrow defeat but the season as a whole IS a disgrace, a change is needed before it's too late to do owt about it. Over to you. I haven't noticed anyone mention this result as a disgrace. But what I will say, next to bottom, 6 defeats on the bounce, Jones talking utter poo , now thats what i call a disgrace. Whats your take on that. Over to you.

Spookone
OP - dont get it, no one in their right mind would say todays result was a disgrace so I dont really get your point?

Cant disagree with that. Plenty of positives today in terms of work rate, but the quality isnt there and hasnt been there. The question is whether this is purely down to DJ or whether other financial factors were at play? Even so I would expect us to be doing better. Animis
we played one of our good games and still lost. Not disasterous if you're picking up points elsewhere, but we're not and aren't looking like it. Can't think of any positives really.
bradowl
I said other night I was sat on fence regarding Jones. Nothing as changed. If we show same attitude we showed today and at Forest then I think we can pick some points up over next 3 games. Anything like last 3 home games then we will need a miracle to survive and so will Jones from axe.

swfc-dan
I didn't think today was bad by any means, the players put a shift in for once. But that doesn't change the fact that DJ's summer signings of forward players and our record this season are horrendous. Those things alone say we need a change of management. BRADDAZ
Overeaction? Have you seen the bloody table. Don't just take the game today in isolation. Take every game so far. Then engage brain and think why people are reacting like they are? I'll give you a big flip off clue... LEAGUE ONE

Stoop
The Dave Jones situation will all become clear one way or another in the next few weeks. Lose ground on our relegation rivals and he'll be on his way Beat bristol and Barnsley and we can go into the January transfer window looking up instead of down

sheffield_dave
Judging by the (over)reaction on here it's clear many people didn't see us losing today and fully expected the 3 points. I hate this sort of thing. Today was a defeat. A loss like any other. Another game we didn't take any points from. The 6th defeat in a row. That result doesn't just become irrelevant because it was against a decent side. We don't scratch it from the records just because we didn't expect to win it. A loss is a loss any way you spin it. Our form is abysmal. That much is undeniable. I've noticed a trend on here that many of those who still back Jones have started attacking those who want him out rather than supplying any of their own thoughts on how or why we will turn this form around, which suggests to me they're as stumped as he is as to how we dig ourselves out of this mess. Shifty Powers
The very thought of going back to League one scares the absolute bejesus out of me. I thought last season we had finally cracked it. A stable, well run and financially sound club all pulling in the right direction. Just how wrong I was Absolutely gutted it has come down to two relegation 6 pointers in December!! Ridiculous and truly heart braking.

itsonmyhead
Im disgusted we only fielded 11 players at once today!! Ffs sack the managers and get milan out too!! Today we should have set up in a straight 5-5-5 formation and proper got at em and caused em some serious prombles ! Big ron would have done it for sure maybe even snook a couple of extra subs on too. We are doooooomed
markowl
No one knows how or why, that's why we're supporters. The people who say get rid and can't put forward a credible replacement are open to question just as much.
