We will look weaker without Bothroyd, just like we look weaker without Barkley.

Scapegoat. FACT

We have a left back out injured who has score more goals.

To be honest it is time to try something else as It's not happening for Bothroyd. Him being injured gives us the chance to go 4 4 2. For me let's go with the below and have a flipping go:

Buxton (Lee if LB is injured) Taylor Llera Helan

Mayor Semedo Lines Antonio

Madine Rodri

Hate putting Taylor in but don't see an alternative

disappointed for Bothroyd regarding his injury; i'm sure he'd have been up for playing against his former club - but i'm just pleased to see Mayor get a run out. we need natural width and crosses.

I guess we will see - it may give Danny Mayor a run out, who has looked decent when he has been on the pitch, so it may bring that breath of fresh air and a bit of unpredictability. I think JJ will play there though.

Bothroyd has been dire for us; he hasn't lived up to the pre-signing hype. That's what it is.

Either way, tomorrow (sorry, I mean today) will be tough.

He has been playing on the wing,he is a striker, not his fault as he is told whrere to play by DJ
