Guest arobert
Good record at St Johnston. Getting Burnley into the Premier League with little resource was a tremendous achievement. On the final shortlist for the Liverpool job but did not do well at Bolton. Still young and full of energy. Way way better than DJ imo.

EuropeanBob
Owen Coyle did the exact same thing at Bolton as Jones has done here. Taken a half decent Megson squad and ripped it apart! no tar
Guest wilyfox
if there is a manager out there more bland than DJ, it has to be Owen Coyle. I'm not a fan; would prefer to keep DJ.

H2Owl
No improvement. May as well stick with Jones. For me it's not necessarily about being an 'impovement' on DJ- It's about bringing someone in with fresh ideas and giving the players an emphasis to go out and play for their shirts. How are you judging Coyle being no improvement? If you're looking at this season then i can't see how Coyle wouldn't be an improvement!

Says he is a poo manager. Yes he got Burnley promoted but sometimes it happens that the right players come together at the right time and things happen. Then the manager gets all the credit.
