What's the manager not doing? Then that must be the answer. He's also not wearing a pink ballgown, playing Rodri in goal or sitting down to a nice fry-up on the touchline.

In recent weeks we've had fans demanding Taylor to be dropped, O'Grady to be re-instated, Mattock in, then back out again, Bothroyd to be signed, the 4-4-2 to be ditched due to the goals being conceded... and all of these things have happened.

And as for needing a motivator, have you forgotten last season already?

His body language on the sidelines isn't great.

Also the way he sounds in interviews is dull and uninspiring.

He doesn't sound spirited. How can that come across well to the players?

Last season they didn't need motivating because morale was already high in my opinion.

Maybe he can get them going, he just doesn't come across that well recently.
