Jones probably needs more time to sort this lot out. The team today looked like a rag bag collection of players out of from, out of position, and lacking confidence.

The loan players probably aren't enjoying it.

We need to sort out an 11 that can grind out results in a difficult league if we are to survive.

Dave the builder sempt so dissapointed that we won two and drew one of our first three league encounters, playing exciting penetrative football. Not forgetting of course our four goal second half salvo at Oldham. But in the main that was the Megson side Rhys McCabe & Gardner appart.

Since then we have seen the constant tinkering in his belief was not good enough. He warned us that our favourites wer n't his and we could expect changes. Ultimately he has played Taylor and Bothroyd when it has become obvious to all and sundrie that niether are ready to be blooded, not only that but he has done so at the expense of Llera and COG, you could also add JJ to the list of players he is trying to work out of the team. JJ has had his best start to the season and has deputised ably at right back for a game and a half. This brings into question the wisdom of why he ever went near Kieron Lee, but having seen him most wondered why he was so worried.

Today he set his stall out to prove a point, by giving extra midfield packing tactic in order to take the pressure off the two centre backs, but this was at the total expense of the game Wolves knew they only had to convert one chance to walk away with the three points. Also trying to justify his love of Bothroyd and loathing of COG, he puts COG on the left wing a classic case of setting someone up to fail inorder to quell the COG outcry from the fans.

Of course there is another possible scenario and that is one of DJ has n't had a lot to do with the comings and goings at Hillsborough. Maybe DJ is still here because unlike Megson he has n't gone shouting his mouth off regarding what is required. However, one further disconcerting rumour is that QPR are paying the vast proportion of Bothroyds wages as long as he is in the team. If this is the case it wants confronting because at the moment Bothroyd is not worth his place.

Lets go 4-5-1 with Anonio and JJ the wide men, COG up front and one of our big battlers supplementing midfield, with no place for Taylor until he sorts himself. FCS we gave Purse the opportunity to settle while playing and the awaited improvement never arrived.

Before todays game DJ said his players need to realise they are in championship and have gone up a level

correct me if i am wong but where did the following play last season

Taylor, Gardner, Mattock - Championship ??

and then throw in

Bothroyd, Barkley,Kirkland - Premiership??

and add a Slovenian international

or does he just mean Semedo,JJ,COG and Antonio need to step up

He has done a brilliant job and I see no alternative but he cuts an awkward figure to the media and if this is a reflection of his man management skills that worries me

He needs some 'PR coaching' at best or at worst is stubbornly arrogant - regarding building he actually said in one interview ' show me a wall and i will knock it down ' Sounds more like demolition ??

JJ has played at this level as has Liera and most of our squad to be honest.

Jones just seems to be slating players whom he hasn't signed.
