ReadingOwl
Sequence of scoring : Ford - 38 Mins McCalliog 44 Ford 46 Whitham 53 Ford 56 Whitham 65 & it states Quinn on 78 Thanks for that. I am extremely grateful. It was my second ever game. I'd be 7 (just before my 8th birthday). I remember my Mother was in bed ill. She hadn't let me go to a game before. My Dad had the doctor to the house she was that ill. So I took advantage and nagged to be allowed to go. She relented. I can still picture her beng in bed agreeing to let me go. My Mother forced my elder brother to take me. He wasn't very happy about that. She insisted we went in the South Stand. On the way home he said to me after the big win - 'it's not always like that'. I wish I'd believed him.

Neal M
Wednesday 3-2 Chelsea. Sept. 25, 1982. Almost certain that Gary Bannister bagged the first goal that day. I move a lot of concrete on the QVC.

From Dunsbyowl's post it looks like Ritchie has been wrongly credited with a goal. I took the scorers from bullock's website. I wonder if he knows?
