Rugbyowl Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 Yep, I was a teen, just and was well excited because this was the Burnley team which was supposedly the future of English football, Dobson, Mellor in goal, O'Neil, Ralph Coates, young Steve Kindon and a few others....just how wrong can you be?! [both teams!] One of my first games too. I remember the Ralph Coates' Charltonesque pedal bin comb over and a McCalliog hat trick ( I think. Aldershot has a lot of mentions, to say there were only about 3 coaches there! Think I've seen most mentioned, but not Spora or 7-2 at Burnley.
