edwinowl
Looks like this lad set to sign on loan. Several sources including Liverpool post with quote from Moyes. Sounds like will be a cracking addition.
BIG D
http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/sport/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2012/09/12/ross-barkley-to-be-loaned-out-to-sheffield-wednesday-99623-31815623/ DAVID MOYES is ready to allow Ross Barkley continue his development with a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday. Barkley was a substitute in the recent Capital One Cup win over Leyton Orient but has played only 14 minutes in the Premier League since November. With Everton having strengthened their squad during the summer, the 18-year-old is likely to find his first-team opportunities limited in the coming months. And, with Moyes keen for the youngster to see more playing time, npower Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are now close to agreeing a temporary switch for midfielder Barkley. Thats that one going to belly up then, the we are close will drag on for days, maybe weeks, untill the inevitable "we failed to agree, and we move on statement". BRADDAZ
We were always going to sign a CM on loan. There is no way Jones would have let both Coke & Prutton go, leaving just Semedo, two kids in McCabe and Corry and the injured Lines without wanting to bring one in. Whether that's Barkley or not, we'll have to wait and see.
Furious George
I've never seen him play, never heard of him till last month. However, I'd repeatedly spunk over his car if he signs for us.
Skyline
My mates who are Everton fans have nothing but high praise for this kid and is "the next star in English football"
Thurnscoe_OWL
He's a very good player who deputised on the wing a few times for Everton. I suspect if we did get him we wouldn't get a loan any further than January.
OxonOwl
A lot of people re posting the likelihood of this happening. Only one says it has been agreed, the marvellously named FTB pro :-) http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/sam.sank/49120/barkley-set-for-wednesday-move It has been a story for a while but something has bubbled it to there surface. Here's hoping
Bluesteel
I got a message from a family member who lives over there saying he was coming here. Would be a good signing based on the few times I've seen him, adds something a bit different to McCabe.

TBF you do that to most of our new signings.
BRUCE LEE
Would be a brilliant signing. Sends out a good message too, potentially Everton are selecting SWFC as the club to temporarily develop and manage one of the countries brightest young players. Fingers crossed he joins. Excellent Don't be surprised to see him take over JJ's place in the team. Somehow I can see him filling same role that likes of Koumas, and later Whittingham played under Jones at Cardiff. I really don't think he will see Barkley as replacement for either Semedo or McCabe...
