So, is it drinks at London Bridge or near the ground?

And what's the best station, Norwood Junction, Selhurst or Thornton Heath?

Yeah good question, I was going to drink in Central London and visit a few Spoons but didn't know where to head near the ground.

posted this in another thread so just to help anyone:

All three stations of Selhurst, Norwood Jctn and Thornton Heath are well within a mile radius of the stadium. 10 minute walk easily.

Thornton Heath and Selhurst are both served by both London Bridge and Victoria, Victoria train is a little quicker AND they are both on the same line, with Thornton Heath being the earlier stop. Norwood Junction is served by London Bridge and is a 20 minute train. You can get the overground (orange on the tube map) line to Norwood Junction as well after getting the jubilee line to Canada Water but this will add approximately 15-20 minutes to your journey. Best two choices in this case are Thornton & Norwood.

Thornton Heath it is for me. Direct from Victoria which is the area I'll be drinking pre-game.

I'll be in JDW Thornton Heath around 1:45 I reckon but anyone know any restrictions on away fans there?

Debating going down, any idea on ticket sales and numbers?

Nipped in yesterday to swap my seats to sit with a mate - they said only 1200 had been sold.

Quite disappointing really although the ticket office was busy so hopefully a few more have gone

Imagine a few more will be buying them later on this week, what allocation have we been given?

Practically a home game for me (live in Balham). I get off the train (from Victoria) at Thornton Heath and it's about a 15 min walk to the ground.

Balham also

Straight train from Balham to Norwood Junction ....

Tickets arrived here in Lewes Sussex today - delivered by Owl postman.

Selhurst Park again...

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Happy with a point - but I know that is not the spirit of 2012/13.

Just bought mine, first away game for a while.

Just coming off nights though so may nod off on the way there.

Hope I can sort that lift out.

We're back and it feels good!
