Guest Cheese
Did you have to pay extra to get it short sleeved? I ordered a short sleeved in polyester instead of cotton with number 11 on the back, just checked my bill and it was £51.44 delivered. Standard long sleeve in cotton or polyester delivered is £43.94. paulo283
not sure if this has already been mentioned but toffs are curently offering a 30% discount if you use code FACE30 the offer ends tomorrow, hopefully this will be useful for anyone looking to get one of the bukta shirts! it may be worth 'liking' them on facebook in case they offer these deals in the future
Rodger Wylde
Thanks for the code Paulo. Just ordered one in the lightweight cotton as opposed to the usual Toffs industrial weight cotton!
paulo283
the bukta ones do look really smart. i bought the 1970's one about 6 months ago which is quite nice but wish i had waited for the bukta ones! i guess another shirt wouldnt do any harm tho :)
Pulsar
Looks the absolute business EBRA. Just been on the Toffs site to order one but states there are cotton, polyester and lightweight cotton!!! WTF! I hate choices. What was the original made from? I hear they grated the nipples somewhat? Rather fancy the Bukta 3rd kit too from 81-
Rodger Wylde
The original was a sort of synthetic-gauze-chainmail type material!! Toffs normal cotton shirts are really thick, stiff and heavy.
rob_stu
Posted 29 June 2012 - 01:34 PM Just spoke to Michelle at Toffs (08450 619666) They will: Do the number, red number on white patch, as this is what they do for the Newcastle one of the same era anyway Do a short sleeve version (Special order over the phone) Do the shorts You can have it made in polyester instead of cotton if you like And, if anyone has pics or even an original terry towelling tracksuit top they can see, they will also make those as well. http://www.wednesdayshirtcollection.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=112483708
marconi
. I rang them up and asked if on the back of the shirt there was a white square patch with red numbers , they said no just the option of a red number on the stripes . I pointed out the original shirt had the white patch with number on that . They were interested to hear this and asked for a photo showing this as they try to be as authentic as possible and did not realise there was the patch . I also asked if they would do short slave and they said yes no problem . Best to talk to them if you want custom shirt .
