Unreal that isn't it...so on average 600 st holders at t'lane don't bother to turn upNot to mention the average also includes walk ups. Pathetic
oh_weds_we_love_you
18698 - Blades average attendance. 19308 - Blades season ticket holders. Just noticed that. As well as us playing Wycombe 11 days after we actually did. Result - these "stats" are f*cking sh*te!

theowlsman
From that I picked out highest increase in away attendance. Sheffield United + 140%. It's like they've just discovered travelling away. Shows that when they've got a chance of winning games, they can turn up. They're going to love it in League 2 the season after this.
owls maniac
19,000 season ticket holders? Blunts trying to fiddle the books or something? Either that or even the daft idiots who had already paid couldn't bare to watch that dross.
DJMortimer
Either that or even the daft idiots who had already paid couldn't bare to watch that dross. If turning up naked was a condition of the season ticket it's no wonder so many stayed away, especially in winter.
oh_weds_we_love_you
Also, when did United get over 30,000 last season? They got 28,000 against us, so the only other I can think of is their final home game of the season...?

Actually, think it does mean home games for that particular club. In which case these stats are a load of BS. siowls
The only reason we dont't have the highest away following is because no chuffin league one stadium can cater for the amount of travelling fans.
owlsincefifties
i think they started off with 19308 S/T's but as the season went on more and adults with under 8 tickets had them confiscated so the average attendance dropped.

Its Time to prove that widely held belief this season then, no excuses now.

IIRC it was for the promotion party game where they blew automatic against Stevenage. flip knows what the crack is with their season ticket numbers on that website
