Saxondale
Had a chance to see Clough work close up a couple of years back at a non-league pre season friendly they were playing in. He let the assistant do most of the talking. But every now and then stood up to have his say, it was usually something extremely patronising or sarcastic. It's easy to see how he could fall out with some players.

geriatricowl
Few of the Derby fans on teamtalk are perplexed as to why he's been allowed to leave. They rate him highly and say that Cloughy has dropped a royal one letting him leave Sounds promising Like father like son, the name Sheridan comes to mind . Guest Dadders
Nigel Clough trying too hard to be like his dad. -------------------------- Clough is on a deal where he gets a cut of all transfer money he brings in. One reason why Derby have become a selling club. They are trying to balance the books courtesy of their American owners who wont put cash in. He's been told to sell players like Shackell and can use only 50% of transfer fee received to sign replacements on 50% of the wages
northeastowl
Hate to be pedantic Fedor. You get to choose which end you kick towards if you win the throw. So, fixed if for you. UTO Incorrect..you get to choose whether you want to kick off or choose ends. Then the loser either gets to choose ends or takes the kick off.
