Guest The Horse
Reading Bladesmad earlier and came across this letter from a fan to the Wycombe Chairman, this has to be read to be believed 'RE: Sheffield Wednesday V Wycombe Wanderers Dear Sir/Madam, I am a Blade, a Sheffield United fan. This season has been one of the most enjoyable I have so far in the 27 years of supporting The Blades home and away. Last weekend also spoilt it quite a bit for me as we didn’t quite get the result we wanted and so The Owls nicked 2nd spot with one game remaining meaning we need to beat Exeter City on Saturday and hope your football club pull off an amazing feat and spoil their ALREADY PLANNED promotion party. I understand, despite your relegation, you are a good team on your day as you showed us when we came down to your ground earlier on in the season and beat us fair and square. I am just praying you can overcome the understandable sadness and being relegated and really rally yourselves to beat the overly arrogant Owls on their own patch. Their fans already believe they’re up, they’ve already beaten you apparently and that your ‘Tin-Pot’ club has not even a chance on Saturday. WELL LET ME TELL YOU THIS WYCOMBE WANDERERS F.C – YOU DO HAVE A CHANCE, PLENTY OF CLUBS INCLUDING EXETER HAVE BEATEN THEM THIS SEASON AND THERE IS NO REASON YOU CANNOT DO THE SAME. PLEASE, play with your heads held high, chests out bursting with pride as you are a professional club and good one at that. You will all be in Blades’ hearts forever should you win at Hillsborough and how nice would it be to silence 35,000 arrogant fans in the stands who just see you as a given. I will be praying you win and pull this off. Yours in hope. JUST SENT THIS TO THEIR CHAIRMAN! ' Now I hope he follows this letter up with ones to Santa and the Tooth Fairy, brightened my afternoon up no end
alanharper
That really is a vile messageboard frequented by scum. http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=463&fid=221&sty=2&act=1&mid=2114853185 This thread, for example. Somebody posts a plan of Wembley as a bit of banter, and gets the reply "at least that ground doesn't kill people" from one of the most messed up of the lot - then he gets the response from another pig "great reply". Utterly classless.

darra
It gets better... 'Given that Wycombe have nothing to play for, I'm wondering if Football League rules allow us to offer a bonus to their players if they manage to win or draw at Hillsborough? If so, we should work out what promotion is worth to us and use a percentage of it to give their players an incentive. I doubt they would cave in to the pigs so easily if there was a 20k per man win / draw bonus at stake.' So a team that sued another for 3k is going to blow a quarter of a mill? nebneeb
The most arrogant thing about that letter, is that it is entirely written with the assumption that if Wycombe do get a result, then that will be enough for the Pigs as it's a given that they will beat Exeter. If I was the Wycombe chairman, I'd just forward it to the Exeter manager... Oh, and "You will all be in Blades’ hearts forever should you win at Hillsborough". Well that's enough to make sure they just roll over to avoid that!

Goatboy
OK the latest is they getting all worked up because Radio Sheffield allgedly spoke to the Pigs sponsors about their position over Ched Evans. Cue lots of grunt replies about how Radio Sheffield has an agenda against the club and that they should set up their own radio station/ approach Hallam fm/ boycott the station. One fan even rings up Radio Sheffield and asks if it is true. Radio Sheffield completely deny it (which said grunter then reports back to the thread). Cue even more grunt replies about how Radio Sheffield has an agenda against the club and that they should set up their own radio station/ approach Hallam fm/ boycott the station. They really are imploding. Great fun to watch

S25OWL
I'll speak with my sister at the FA and see if this letter is deemed a break of FA rules in trying to influence a game ?? now wouldn't that be interesting ... Maybe some one should tell them on porky pies site that they could be in breach of FA rules and be liable ? I'll see if tevez can sit on the panel for fairness in football !
