Guest pops55
Will 88 be enough Hudds had 87 last season, however, they would have needed 93 last season can't see it being that high this year. 21 points from our last ten games seems a tall order but not imposible. Last 5 seasons below. 2006/7 bristol city w25 d10 pts 85 2007/8 forest w22 d16 pts 82 2008/9 peterboro w26 d11 pts 89 2009/10 leeds w25 d11 pts 86 2010/11 southampton w28 d8 pts
Guest wilyfox
i reckon 85-88; on the basis that both ourselves and Utd are likely to drop some points along the way Edited March 12, 2012 by wilyfox
EcclesallOwl
Not really bothered about seeing where we are going to get the points from. This division is awful and ALWAYS throws up a surprise. Some games you might expect us or other teams to win could end in defeat, no one knows. We just need to keep winning.

I think we'll need 92. So, 8 wins and a draw from last 10. If we do that we'll deserve it!
Lee A
We need 1 more than United and Huddersfield, simple as that, it wont be decided until the last couple of games though that's for sure. About 75 will guarantee a play off spot, I'd say around 90 is still the mark for automatic.
TrickyTrev
I think we'll need 90 points for 2nd place this season. Can we do it?? Course we flipping can!!!!!

alanharper
Points tallies in previous seasons is irrelevant, we just have to make sure that we end up with more at the end of this season than the pigs and Huddersfield do. We're on 67 points from 36 games and are in third position, potentially still 4 points adrift of second spot after tomorrow night. After 36 games last season the great unbeatables were in second place with only 63 points (and despite going the rest of the regular league season unbeaten they still dropped out of second place into the play-offs, snigger)
robswfc
There's 4 teams in with a shot, so likely that at least one of those will go on a good run getting 2 points per game or more. So it could be as high as 90 pts for auto. 7 wins will probably do it, 8 to make sure- that's a tall order though......

Guest Sheff Owl
To start we have just got to hope that Colchester can do us a favour on Tuesday night and beat the pigs..which then will keep them 1 point ahead with the same amount of games played. IF the pigs win then there will be a 4 point gap which is not the end of the world no but it's tricky then..

If it does end up being 1, or even 2 points, they will have p!ssed those games in hand right up the wall. They could have been 11 clear at one stage had they won those games in hand, psychological fail on their part? Hope so.
TheEnchanter
I think 88-91 points would seal it.
