Guest Lawrie Maddens Hump
it's not so much about the sending off's today. The facts are that United have now lost two from their last three games. There is a long way to go from now until the end of the season. Plenty of time to catch United, just as long as we gets some players in and DJ gets us playing better. Keep the faith. vontemp
Doesn't matter how the Pigs get on if we keep dropping points against poo teams.
Utah Owl
Lowton and Maguire will only miss the one game, even if they lose that they're still guaranteed to be in second place afterwards. Not like a pig to be fickle and over dramatic... DOesn't Lowton miss more games? He went off for two bookables not a straight red. CB31
Pretty certain a professional foul is only one game, different if it was violent conduct. Think back to when we had Wade Small and Chris Brunt sent off at Coventry, Small lashed out (3 games) and Brunt was last man (1 game).
CB31
Lowton was two yellows anyway, crazy to go in like that already on a booking. So he'll miss one game.
nite11owl
2bh I agree there's a long way to go and things can change very quickly Win tues and sat and things will look a whole lot different Agree with this.... 2 games ago if the teams below us with games in hand had won those we would have been 6th, 11 points from 2nd, 4 points from 3rd, 3 points from 4th, 1 point from 5th and only 2 points from the 7th placed team, as it now stands 2 games on if the teams win their games in hand we will be 5th, 7 points from 2nd, 2 points from 3rd and 1 point from 4th, 6 points from 6th and 7 points from 7th ..... so with 12 games to go it is all to play for. Yes had we won today it would be better but it's still not the end of the world and the above is only if they win those games, and I for one will have every thing crossed and pray to every god mankind knows that they wont win those. Guest krisswfc1
this could be the break we need, but we need to stop weeing about and get games won while they are out of sorts, they should/could easily have lost against scunny as well and dont forget Sir Tom Knickerbockerglory is on trial in april as well so his head will a shed,

Pompeyowl
They have been incredibly fortunate so far. Could be thr only chance we have of catching them, although we also have to catch 'Udders. Eeeerr... No we don't.
TrickyTrev
This time last week they were 5 points above us with 2 games in hand. 7 days later they are now 4 points above us with 1 game in hand. Going into a week with 2 quick home games on the spin and 2 away for them, I fancy us to narrow that gap again if not overtake them. Also games in hand aren't points in hand. Mountain Owl
The real test for Wilson starts now Said it all along that he doesn't do pressure situations The thing is he should have been under a lot more pressure if we'd done the business at Rochdale. I'm more worried about what were not doing rather than the Pigs failing.

Loxley Owl
Taking one for the team there Loxley. Wouldn't be so bad if we'd won yesterday. As it stands, I'd rather have had £53 than a point.
Blueblood
I have to say it but them dropping points and losing players yesterday made our draw more palatable. It's not ideal having to rely on others feckin things up, but unfortunately thats the position we're in. As others have said I usually have to see threads on here about other teams. But this one affects us so I can live with it. But why do we have to be so negative all the time. Yes we missed a good chance to make up some ground but lets take the positives. Our rivals all dropped points too, we don't get much luck so lets take it when we do get a bit. Hopefully DJ will have a positive affect and we'll start to kick on
0114
Lowton and Maguire will only miss the one game, even if they lose that they're still guaranteed to be in second place afterwards. Not like a pig to be fickle and over dramatic... Maguire got straight red meaning he'll miss 3. Lowton will miss 1.

Why is it? this is what its all about who your rivals have to play hoping they lose hoping you win, that what make the season so facinating.
