Big Malc
Some posters are very easily pleased. Rochdale are 23rd and we are 3rd. Two points lost. Good point, well made
WalthamOwl
Very poor result IMO, we don't deserve to get out of this division with result like this

Bluesteel
Although we gained a point on teams. We dont look like we have it in us to break into the top two unless something changes.
mark77
4 points from 2 games, 2 clean sheets, a point and game in hand better off against United plus Huddersfield throwing 2-0 and 3-0 leads away , we're far better off than this time last week Point gained
Weshallovercome
Apart from Charlton, this is a tough league where anyone can beat anyone on a given day.....we can still get 2nd with a few decent loanees.

Utah Owl
Blunts have problems next few matches. They have injuries in their defence and now have suspensions to deal with as well. Add to that they have 3 away games next, we really need to start reeling them in. This is where Dave Jones can really make his mark and put our season back on track. OwlsfaninNorway
Is it boll0x a good point. A point gained yes. A point now is worthless. Terrible. It's better than if we both had won. And if we gain 1 point on the pigs in average in each of our last 12 games, then we will have passed them thoroughly. With 0 points a game, then we won't. Therefore: Not pointless allthough not ultimate.
OwlsfaninNorway
Two points lost. We should be beating poor sides like this comfortably. DJ had better get involved pretty quickly. Exactly. And that is why MM has appointed DJ, I believe. Today he was not in charge, just viewing and assessing what we have. He was with Milan in the directors stand today. Evans was in the dugout. Guest Sniper1
To say how bad things looked 7 days ago, im quite happy. Dave will have seen enough today to know what he needs to do. We lost 3 in a row and automatic looked off, now we are back in and putting pressure on those piggy tards. Anything can happen, with a couple of quality loan signings we can close that gap. I think that gap will be closed by 1700 hrs next Saturday. Although we should be beating Rochdale today, im putting it down to the disruption over this week and expect a different SWFC on Tuesday. Looking forward to a couple of creative players coming in on loan for the rest of the season.
OwlsfaninNorway
Yes, the game sounded rubbish. And yes, we should have got 3 points if we were to show any kind of promotion form. So yes, 2 points lost. That doesn't change the fact that we were extremely luck and closed in on the pigs by a point. Because of this extreme luck we didn't lose any ground to the 4 teams that were below us. Huddersfield, MK Dons and Stevenage drew. And Carlisle lost. You are debating 2 different facts. But let there be no doubt. I do not for one second believe that we will gain direct promotion without improving substantially. We are one set of lucky, MASSIVE barstewards. essexowl2
Since last Sunday we've played 2, Utd 3 and we've gained a point on them - I'd certainly have taken that 1pm on Sunday.......no brainer really
