Formation is up to you :- GK: Chris Adamson LB: John beswetherick RB:Steve Nicol CB:Ashley westwood CB:Danny Maddix RM:Stuart Ripley LM:Gary Teale CM:Darren Potter CM:Paul Mclaren CF:David Graham CF: Lee Bradbury Sure there are worse players than some of those but off top of my head thats a pretty poor team. Lincs Owl Posted February 5, 2012 Share Posted February 5, 2012 That bad hey? Yes the teams of 74-5 and 75-6 were shocking. I remember going away to places like York and getting thrashed 3-0. Crowds were down to 10,000. I honestly thought we would eventually go bust and do an Accrington. Can't even bear to look in the complete record book to pull out players names. All best forgotten. 15 years on we were beating Man Utd in a Cup Final at Wembley. Hope history can repeat itself. The current side is no great shakes- but it's far better than the mid 70's one.
