Was something like 49k? Wednesday v United

Can I ask all the stattos out there what the record is for the current newly formed L1?

You can't wipe the records away just by changing the name!!!!

Probably L***ds in their play off match with Carlisle at Smelland Road.

Maybe 38,000 and something.

Playoff matches don't count as league matches.

May I refer you to the 2011 case of The World v Huddersfield Town, where this precedent was set.

Villa had 48000 v Bournemouth in 70-1 or 71-2(they were in 3rd for 2 years).

Wednesday DO NOT hold the 3rd div record.

Cardiff v Bris City just after war..... 51,000. 3rd Div South. Owls v Blades 49,000 is only best since 3rd south/3rd north were dissolved in 1958.

Man City were at Maine Road with a capacity of around 32,000 give or take.

It would be nice to get more than L***ds 38,000 record.

Think you will find that was mainly down to the fact that we had at least 25000 in the ground, check out the old vid when McPhail scores for them , not a blade to be seen on the John street,he got to the kop before he found one!!
