Charlton sign Danny Haynes from Barnsley

Not that prolific to be fair. Not certain why he has been transfered listed by Barnsley, but it seems there is some controversy surrounding him and we don't need anyone upsetting our team cohesion/spirit. Good luck to Charlton dealing with that one.

Potentially a brilliant signing.

But, Hill is no mug, and he's been pretty blunt in his comments about Haynes.

Clearly there's something not right with his attitude. It's the sort of signing that's just as likely to upset the applecart and derail an already serious promotion push, than it is to score the goals to clinch it.

Important we do what we did against Tranmere, and what we've rarely done at home, and that's get at them from the off. If we stand off and let them play they are quick and mobile and will cause us problems Both their full backs love to get forward and will attack behind our wingers if given the chance.

He was raved about by the dingles when he first went there, what happened?

Always rated him to be honest.

Hopefully we will clatter him early on and he'll go missing.

Was he signed in time to play tomorow? What was the cut off time to play, midday today?

He has signed an 18-month contract and will wear the number 14 jersey, with the deal completed in time for Haynes to be available for selection for Saturday's League One match against Sheffield Wednesday.

The funny thing with Charlton unless some of their players are happy to just collect a wage and not play then surely there is gonna be one or two grumbles along the way..how many players have they got - gotta be about 30 - signed at least 25 up to now.

Players are leaving as well you know :) Francis just gone to Bournemouth, Benson Swindon, Davisson released, Euell loan Wimbledon, Ephraim loan ended. So the numbers haven't really changed.
