BarnOwl55
Step forward, Mark Beevers. I think you should be saying 'Step aside' Mark Beevers. Llera's the one to take over for the next few games if needed. Leapt like a salmon for the ball for Walsall's second goal - OK he was so far away from it that he may just have as well have been in a different river but you couldn't blame him for a lack of effort! Reda looked pretty flat-footed at the far stick.
BarnOwl55
Llera has done really well in the two games I've seen him play, he's a similar player to Jones anyway. Beevers needs to be brought back into the team slowly, so Llera to start & Beevers on the bench for me. Exactly this! Don't need an under-confident Beevers right now. BIG D
I like Jones but teams evolve through the season due to circumstance. This is Lleras chance to earn himself a deal. Who knows he could be an improvement .

Who knows he could be an improvement . Trouble is I can't see him getting a full time deal with us. Money isn't going to be spilling out of MM's pockets and there are more important targets than Llera just at the moment. However he could do a vital job for the next few games if Jones is going to be missing. Gives time for Beevers to integrate back into the squad and then be available for cover in second half of the season.

tomhollywood
Llera for me. He is a ready made replacement for R.Jones who has already had a number of games missed due to injury. It also allows Reda to get a continued run @ LB and hopefully he will keep learning in that position.
Guest pearson shirtliff
Sorry people just seen the second Walsall goal, shocking defending by Llera they dont score if he makes the header and its a simple header for a center half really,he will cost you points and you're season has been about solid defending thats why you're home record is so strong .....great opening goal by the way. Do you mean an under confident Beevers whose played about 15 times for a team with a better defensive record and only one point less than ourselves. He was impeded to be fair, but in hindsight, I can't help but think that Jones would've headed that away over the half way line. I think it was collectively poor defending for the second to be honest, the first ball should have been dealt with, but after it bounced it should have had 2 or 3 of our lads queueing up to clear it away. bigthinrob
Think we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Yeah, at fault with the goal but prior to that he had won about half a dozen headers clean as a whistle and looked rock solid. Think we missed Rob Jones organization though. TopperHeadon
So Beevers plays 15 odd games in a winning MK side then returns to us and we should be put him on the bench "to be cover in the second half of the season" FFS..... Mark Beevers STILL is the best prospect to emerge from our youth set up for years and if ever there was an opportunity to get him back into the side while he has some confidence about him, then surely that is now. The only thing Llera has going in his favour is that he replaces Jones on virtually a like for like basis, he's a stopper and supposedly strong in the air .... a "footballer" he aint. I just don't get the anti Beevers thing. He's still a young lad, is learning the game the hard way, has played in plenty of crap Wednesday teams, yet will still eventually turn out to be a Premier League regular (for someone). Beevers for me.

Guest D.J.Nick1212
I would be happy for liera to play, I think Beavers needs a week to get up to speed with how things have changed but he was a quality defender with plenty of promise, his time at MK franchise will have done him good and it will be like him moving from one club to a other and then to a better one again! Think we should give him chance
