FA Cup 1st round televised games

Recommended Posts

I doubt we'll be on TV tbh. The three Wednesday games that Sky have shown this season have all been crap entertainment for neutrals and I think this might put off ESPN/ITV from choosing us.

Some of you are mad.

Wednesday will definitely be televised.

We are massive.

Charlton and Huddersfield also.

They'll not bother with the pigs because they aren't massive.

Simples.

I dont want to appear all billy big testicles, but I cant see any other game but ours being on tv?? Given that Morcombe are at home, flying high in the division below, and add to that our hit and miss away form and the fact that Meggo might rest a few players, we look ripe for a giant killing!

I will be amazed if it isnt us on telly?????

Don't see why they'd put the pig game on, League One at home to League Two.

The "Chris Wilder factor"? Do me a favour, he's hardly a stellar name in football, most of the viewing audience would have barely heard of him.

who the fuks chris wilder.never heard of him

Doubt they will pick us, only because we were on at the same stage last year.

Dosen't seem to stop em showing Manurei in the final most seasons.

I've had a look through the games and only three stand out for me.

Halifax V Charlton, Swindon V Huddersfield (The Di Canio factor) and Morecambe against us.

There's no way the pigs will be on tv with them being the home side, if it were at Oxford it'd be a good shout.

The only other game that might appeal to the TV companies is Newport County V Shrewsbury, based purely on the fact that Newport were once an ex-league club and Shrewbury are going well in League 2.
