Mike Hunt
I would be pretty gutted if we signed a 27 yr old from York to be honest. What about a 32year old from Bury

Guest Sheff Owl
If we signed him or not, the main thing i am pleased about is that we are looking in these areas. For a long time now we have needed to look further than the end of our nose.
gurujuan
Couldn't sign him til January when the window re-opens so we will still probably need to get someone in on loan
heppers
Finally seem to be signing players who are in form and in 'their' prime. Not everyone peaks so young like Rooney and Owen. Some players take time to develop. Far better to be signing players on the up than aging journeymen dropping down the leagues. Gary Megsons Barmy Army! townend_owl
very pleasing to see us looking. plenty of players don't make their way to fully professional football till they're older. Good to see
gurujuan
If we've watched him three times already we must see something in him If we watched again tonight he's not done his case any harm Maybe we'll see Clinton move out and this guy come in in January. Need someone now though

gurujuan
We can but it would be unlikely to happen Why would they do that, they are chasing promotion and could keep him in their side for another ten weeks and maybe get a better price from another club

gurujuan
I don't like taking risks, especially when we don't need to, let's get our quota of available strikers back up to 4 In January if Clinton goes I'd be more than happy to take a chance on this guy
Guest Lawsy
Scored twice tonight, wonder if we were watching? gurujuan
If they paid £60,000 for him, after all these goals, what sort of figure do you think we'll have to pay? Suppose it depends who's looking at him but it could be as much as £200,000. Given that we only paid a fraction of that for Lowe, would we still be interested at that price?
