Rodger Wylde
First half we battered then for 35 minutes. They had one chance and missed. We were solid all over the pitch. Second half we had to weather a 12 minute onslaught from the kick off without giving too much away. Then our Gary decides to give them a chance by taking James off and Mr O'Grady. We then dropped back 20 yards inviting them on to us and inevitably the big teddy bear scores. All in all a good solid performance and never looked like losing or drawing. Bluesteel
On the flip side to that, we do seem very strong on the break, we certainly were at Pools and shouldve scored more. How did COG play? We seem to miss a player who can hold the ball.

Bluesteel
He shouldnt be on the left wing. Acres of space at Pools last week for him to cover. Edited October 8, 2011 by Bluesteel

striker
Think JOC did him a favour getting booked and made it an easy decision. Performance wise solid if not spectacular and prevailed due to superior quality going forward, exactly what a massive club should do, enjoyed it today

BRADDAZ
Chessy had their 10 minute spell at the beginning of the second, when JOC was having his mare. Megson got it bang on with the Johnson sub and we were again in total control. The next sub, Sedgwick for O'Grady, nearly cost us two points today as Chessy had another spell. Thankfully he put JJ back out right and moved Marshall up top and we scored the killer third. For a good 75% of that game we were in total control and very rarely needed to get out of second gear. We're becoming a very good side.
Last_Great_Hope
He took O'Connor off to stop him getting sent off He was getting JJ ready to come on before he got booked, so I would reckon he was taking him off as he was playing poo . We seem to miss a player who can hold the ball. That's the thing which has impressed me. Last few seasons we would just boot the ball away when under pressure, now with Marshall, Madine, JJ etc we have real danger and pace on the counter-attack. It's really helping us finish teams off, whereas before we'd be hanging on till the last minute (and invariably concede).
curran-bun
JOC is not up to a sheffield wednesday shirt and should never wear it again. This is the new wednesday we've been waiting 20 years for and players of the old school are not welcome. I felt let down every time the little dwarf got the ball and didnt have a clue what to do with it. Move on JOC!

Get a grip ffs,he was playing well for the first 35 mins then he made a couple of mistakes that people on here seem to notice very clearly, but never give him credit were its due. Who are ya going to have a go at when he isnt playing,or are ya just going to throw a coin. we were winning 1-0 when he went off by the way Edited October 8, 2011 by w.owl

tomhollywood
COG's control was amazing on a couple of occassions, plucked it out of the air like it was nothing! In another 3/4 games when he has match fitness he could be very useful.
