striker
Apologies if I have missed it but just noticed that Sflaphorpe are playing Newcastle on Thursday, then us on the Saturday. Similar to our debacle v Bournemouth except without the excessive travelling. Never the less if we play the fringe players at Blackburn, think we have an excellent chance on Saturday as I doubt Sflaphorpe will be able to make the wholesale changes we did pre Bournemouth and have not been in sparkling form anyway, despite a good draw v Charlton. Barberphobia
Chatting to a Scunny fan last week, they were apparently dreadful at the last home match and should be regarded as one of the favourites for relegation. Probaly means they'll play like world beaters on Saturday.

eckington owl
I think we'll win. I can remember a couple of hammerings past to Scunny at Hillsborough in the past. However i don't think we've been too good against them recently. Didn't they spank us in the cup 4-1 last season?

Blueblood
Is this really where we're at?? Hoping we can take benefit of Sflaphorpe playing Newcastle 2 days before our game so we can beat them.
Guest DSC_UK
Don't think we need to play a weakened side at blackburn to beat scunny at home we will still have an extra days rest so will be fresher side.

Guest mozzyblue
We struggled with playing 2 games in such a short space of time, so they should. I expect a win on Saturday.
BradfordOwl
Like someone has mentioned if we can't beat Scunny at home (Never mind how many games they've played in a short space of time) then were well and truely in trouble for the coming year. This short-termist attitude from some supporters is not helping our progress at all. If that's the sort of mindset you have when you arrive at Hillsborough you might as well just give up and stay at home because believe it or not, we are going to lose more games this season, even if we eventually take the title. It's a single game of football, anything can happen on the day regardless of how good or well prepared your players are. If we perform badly and lose 5 games on the spin you might start to actually have a point, but declaring that our entire season rests on one random game in which nothing in particular will be decided is just embarrassing. I disagree, if we can't beat Scunny with our team we're in bang trouble, especially when taking the Bury and bournemouth games imto account.
