Anyone heard of 'owling' it's like planking but you have to sit on your haunches and stare into the distance like a bird. The South Stand do it every week as they get out of their seats at the end of match.

Yep, owling is flipping gay though.

We may in our minds be a much bigger club than little Rochdale, but before we all take the p1ss it might be worth considering that little Rochdale finished 6 places above us in the league last year, with an average attendance of 3,486.

Aren't we great?

Say that this time next year when they are in league 2 and us in the championship. Chris O'Grady crying with his reduced league 2 wage packet.

I don't think I'm setting myself up for anything, personally, other than setting my expectations for a shuffle following tomorrow from Rochdale.

I'm sure there will be plenty more throughout the season, but it really hits home the difference in size between our two clubs.

And here we have a stereo typical Wednesdayite

WE ARE IN THE SAME LEAGUE

WE LOST 2-0 AGAINST THIS SHUFFLE TEAM

he never said otherwise you moron. All he commented on was that they look to be bringing a poor following for the opening game of the season. Christ.

*2-1*

How much does each coach hold? And how many tickets have they sold up to now?

You want to calm down pal, you'll give yourself an ulcer if you carry on.

If you want to talk about the match result, then I'm sure there is another thread on that - roger off and do your crying on there.

All I've done is alerted people to the fact that Rochdale are only bringing two official coaches - something that surprised me and I am sure will have surprised others.

2 coaches. That's poo .

Maybe just 2 coaches which = 100 but I'm sure fans use other transport than clubs put on now days.

I've seen Wednesday take well over a thousand to away games when there's only been a couple of coaches there.

Maybe they will do what most of us do and drive or catch the train.

Admission prices for Sheffield Wednesday

Tue 02nd Aug 2011 07:00 by Col

The wait is almost over and the 2011-12 season is upon us at last.

A large number of Dale supporters are expected to travel down to Sheffield on Saturday for the opening game of the season, in which Steve Eyre gets his managerial career started.

Dale supporters will be housed in upper tier of the West Stand (Leppings Lane end) that we have been in during our previous visits to Hillsborough. The end holds 3,700 so there's no problems at all of finding a seat.

Admission will cost you £22 to get in to this game, with concessions available at £13 for those over 65 and those under 18. Proof of age may be requested for concessions.

Dale supporters can make their entry into Hillsboro that bit easier by buying their tickets in advance. Those tickets are available from Spotland up until 3pm on Friday afternoon.
