TheEnchanter
I'd be more then happy with Batth, but Carlisle would be a good signing for them in this league.

He did a Salmonbones and went on Countdown. Burnley fans I know think he's poo now.

Road Runner
Surprised Agent Wilson's not in for him then. They cant afford a pair of clarke's shoes.
BRUCE LEE
He did well in the season Burnley went up, but he's not exactly a major coup. Think PNE will be up there though, Hume will be amongst the goals no doubt.
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
I've seen Clarke Carlisle a few times and to be honest I think one or two on this thread are over-rating him. He's prone to the odd defensive lapse. I remember watching Burnley on match of the day shortly after Brian Laws took over, and not only did he score an own goal, but he cost Burnley a second goal with pretty awful defending. Like I said, I've seen him a few times, and pretty much each time I've seen him he's done something stupid that sticks out. Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife. Lee A
Really. Remind us. Who is Clarke Carlisle? Do it without looking him up. I wouldn't want you to get enbarrassed. This ^^^ Could say the same for a lot of Charltons apparently world class signings aswell, who the **** are they? Our defence is fine imo, its at the other end that we need to strengthen.
