Walsall v Sheff Wed - Official Match Day Thread

Recommended Posts

If we beat Swindon on Monday and any of Bristol Rovers, Walsall or Dagenham get a point or more, Swindon will be relegated.

Nothing against Swindon whatsoever but it would be somewhat fitting if Paul Hart is relegated back at Hillsborough almost exactly a year after he did the same to us.

Too right, good spot!

Hopefully its too late for United, but there's always the nagging feeling. Plus, some of these younger players could have more of an impact next season than I originally thought, especially Slew.

Yeah, I'm now getting this feeling the jammy fookers will make a miracle escape. And if they don't, they could be a tough side to beat in L1.

poo them b@stards have put a proper downer on a Saturday night

At this stage of the season I'll take a point on the road at a team fighting against relegation.

I'm just relieved that it's mathematically certain now! Doesn't fill me with confidence for next season though.

Slew can't have much impact for United if he's playing for another club

Correct........even when the blunts had Tevez and parachute payments coming in they got rid of their best assets.

What chance have they got of keeping them now they are skint.
