Can anyone confirm is that gray fella that scored actually Stuart Gray who used to play for Boro at academy and reserve level, as well as all underage Northern Ireland teams ?

If that's him, he could be an interesting option. Used to be very highly rated, and scored bucket loads while playing at such level for Middlesborough.

In my opinion he was extremely poor. Only his first game but he was very average. Decent in the air but very slow and could not read the game at all!

Could you write a bit on how well Jack Barnett and Scott Canham did ?

Middlesbrough midfielder James Gray

Name: James Gray

Date of Birth: 26/6/92

Position: Central Midfielder

Club: Middlesbrough

Previous clubs: None

International caps: Northern Ireland U-19

A product of the Middlesbrough youth academy, Gray is a hard-working

midfielder who is hoping to break into the first team under new boss

Tony Mowbray.

Gray is yet to make a first team appearance for Boro but has been

impressive in the reserves, in particular scoring a brace against

Grimsby Town in a recent fixture to earn Boro a 2-2 draw.

Gray is also a hot prospect at international level, representing

Northern Ireland at under-19 level in both friendly and competitive

fixtures. After first breaking into the side and impressing in a

series of friendly games, Northern Ireland coach Steve Beaglehole made

a phone-call to Middlesbrough academy manager Dave Parnaby about how

impressed he had been with the young midfielder.

Parnaby told the club’s official website "He was very pleased, not

only in James as a player, but that his whole demeanour and his

conduct both on and off the pitch were first class, It's always nice

to get a phone call like that from an international team manager."

Which positions did they play? None of the others stood out tbh

Barnett used to be a central midfielder, but is now playing his trade at right back.

Canham is 17 years old left footed right winger, and he came on for Italian center back.

Btw. James Gray played upfront, right ? As he can play in central midfield as well.

Gray played up front, He did OK to be honest.

Think Canham did OK, he was working well with Tommy Spurr on the left in the 2nd half. Being honest I didnt really take much notice of a lot of the younger lads as none really stood out.
