Don't get me wrong I don't think under the circumstances SM is totally to blame but we need to change the culture around the club and that includes the Academy. MM is starting to bring his own people in at boardroom level and i think we need to see the same thing with the kids. Fresh broom and all that. Guest Bannister Posted April 22, 2011 Share Posted April 22, 2011 The academy has never been the same since Mike Rigg left IMO - most of the players to come through recently are wrongly attributed to SM, most were in the academy set up well before SM set foot in the place. SM's legacy is not now but in the next 5yrs, it will be interesting to see who comes through then..... question for Kivo which players offered contracts via SM have actually gone on to be retained by the club and how many have fallen by the wayside?
