Megson needs to know when to keep his mouth shut.

Deflecting criticism maybe?

Probably.

Megsons first responsibility is to the players and it seems he is doing his best to wee wee most of them off.

Megsons first responsibility is to the best interests of swfc the club NOT the players.

We we all asking why he dropped miller and Madine and changed the team around from tuesday.

At least he was honest with us.

He also just said there was a clause in the contract, but we would have to ask miller about it.

If miller doesn't start now between now and the end of the year at least we know why, otherwise there would be loads of theories on it.......

It would be very interesting to know what other players have some sort of clause in their deals because Megson basically said he could not believe it..

You have to wonder if Heffernan has something in his contract, i mean he can't get a look it.

If Megson is asked why Miller ddn't play today, exactly what would you suggest he said? Are you saying he should've just refused to say anything and bluff it out until Seth asked the next question? Or, do you think he should make a different excuse up every week, because it looks like Miller isn't going to play again.

Megson is first team manager.

He is responsible for the players and getting results.

He is a small cog in the SWFC machine - the club and chairman is responsible to the fans and club. Not Megson.

If the contracts for players were opened up whether successful or not and no matter what the club it would turn your hair white.

Why do we need to know the mechanisms of the club when we know the right man is in place to fix it?

Is it catarthic or something?

I see it as hysterical paranoia.

I don't care what contract Miller has, why he wasn't played or what Megson thinks of it - we fookin' lost and Megson is responsible.

NOT MILLERS CONTRACT

The players contracts has nothing to do with the fans.

If his contract situation has influenced the team selection then it is relevant. Especially as Miller is our captain and scored 2 from midfield the other night.

If we had won would he have mentioned it?

Thought not.

Yes he would. And he would also have asked why Madine was out.

The point is, everyone was complaining at the start about changing a winning team therefore it had to be asked. It's the sort of question journalists ask, don't you think?

What should Megson have said when asked, that it's a secret. Don't be stupid.

So when Seth asked the question was Megson meant to say "Hang on a minute, let me just go get Milan" ?

If we'd won, and Seth asked Megson why Miller hadn't played (because it was Seth who laboured the point, not Megson), the answer would still have been the same. Do you want honesty from the club or not?

For me Megson told the truth and that's the right thing to do.

If he had brushed it aside there would be so many rumours that he and Miller has had a fight, he does not rate Miller, Miller does not want to play etc etc.

Would Mandaric have revealed such information in such a blaze way?

Megson has shown absolutely no class in this matter.

So, once again, live on Radio, whether that be this week after he'd made up a false injury, or in the next 2 to 3 weeks he doesn't play, what should GM have said.

Would you suggest he said he wasn't allowed to say and to ask Milan, for then Milan to then tell everyone to ask Tommy.

Meanwhile, the rumours start of a bust up, fallout, injury, clauses start, disrputing even more.

How silly.

Please answer the question....

What did you expect him to say?

Lie.

You know, the same thing Wenger, Ferguson and Mourihno do when they are asked leading questions when asked if they saw the penalty incident.

The naivity of some fans is astounding.

Megson knew what he was taking on, now, after a defeat, we have to listen to him throw his toys out of the pram.
