trev
We still have our best defender this season, Buxton, best midfielder Coke, and best Striker Mellor, to come back into the team. Plus and additions in January. It looks good, I have to say. Best squad in many a year.
Wednesday-Wonderland
Let's just hope Irvine continues to allow the team to attack. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about playing the 'big' teams in January.
Lee A
Everybody stepped up today. I for one have been quick to pick fault with the likes of Potter ans Johnson of late, but everybody can walk away with heads held high today. Think the best thing about today was the tempo, it was played at pace, particularly in the first half, and at that tempo teams wont be able to handle us. Also, with Potter and Miller playing further up the field than usual, and showing willing to go beyond the forwards, we kept pressure on them instead of inviting it back on ourselves. Hopefully more of the same from now, not expecting 6 every week, but i'd love it if the lads could play at that pace more often, because if they do, even with players missing, we will tear teams apart. richowl
If we play the same attack minded, free flowing football, we'll be in the automatic places come may.
