Guest sideline
All those sleepless nights wondering where the investment was ! All those criticisms of the three stooges for taking us backwards financially ! Now given the choice the first thing to do is waste more money...What when the new manager fails to win any of his first 4 games ? Pay him off too ! Come on man, give him a chance, the team he has put together has been done under severe budget restrictions, do you think Irvine does n't know where the problems are ? give him time he'll get it right ! Regards. Hit the nail on the head for me there, now we have some money behind us we need to not waste that money like we have previously. Whilst Alan Irvine may not be producing the most inspired football we are at the end of the day still in the playoffs at the moment, albeit in a tight league, if we can continue to grind results out comfertability and confidence will come. Alan Irvine may not be the man for the long haul but for the League One campaign I don't see the need to waste more money on someone else.
marconi
Go. We need a manager and support staff that can motivate, on the training ground, in the dressing room and on the pitch. Always wanted Gary Johnson, or Warnock. Edited October 10, 2010 by marconi
the third man
wont be a waste of money, better football and a high league position will mean 4000 more on the gate, and how many more next season as a championship side instead of a mid table league 1 side
Beholder
GO I hate his team selections, tactics and the teams negativity under him.
Guest thetruthisoutthere
Stay Maybe the style will improve as Brian Laws players start to leave/get injured/go out on loan/retire etc. It is still 75% Laws team dont forget. Will be interesting to see if Irvine gets some money and what he does with it. I think we are doing well considering the above. Rome built in a day n all that. kingsidney
Go, he had more money at Preston and failed with it and has shown no sign of doing any better here.

trask43
I can only assume those saying stay havent seen many games this season, has to be go for me this is his style even if it gets us promoted I dont want to watch this dire brand of football in the championship. boxing_day
Go. I've not seen anything to indicate he should be a manger of Wednesday, or any club for that matter. I would back my dog to get us promoted this season, we have easily the best squad in the league, and the league is dire. The gulf between the quality of the Championship and league one is miles bigger than it was last time we were down.. Anything other than automatic promotion is failure, and i just dont see that happening under a bloke who nearly destroyed Preston, played a massive part in taking us down and worries that leyton orient (second bottom in an abysmal league) are a 'good side'. This is a massive year for Wednesday, the best chance for a change in fortune in 10 years and i am very worried we wont capitalise on that with Irvine in charge. owls66
Go - playing negative tactics against Leyton Orient just puts the icing on the cake.
Orlando_Trustful
Gooooooooooooo, the ugly negative dull Scottish bugger. Sheridan for me, the hero to take us back where we belong
SiJ
Has to go. He isn't good enough. We should be doing what Leicester and Norwich did, but then I remember that they had good managers in Pearson and Lambert.

But why is it 75% Laws' team when Irvine brought in EIGHT new players in the summer? He had half a season to keep us up and failed. GO for me but please don't give Sheridan the job, his teams can't defend. Someone with character and experience is needed.
Benjani
Won 8 of his 15 games in all competitions this season. 5th in the League, conceded the 2nd fewest amount of goals in the League so far. But yeah, go - keep the door revolving. Yes the football isn't great at the moment, but we're winning games - thats all I care about at the moment. piddy
Take another look in Decmenber. If we are still in top 6 then stay, if not then go. Not been a fan of the negative football or selections, but if it gets us up then who's to complain. Another worry is trusting Irvine with money in Jan... many question marks on his tranfer skills! Dark$ide
To be fair all his signings so far have been pretty decent. Everyone was well impressed we managed to sign mellor, morrison, heffernan, teal etc in the closed season. Coke has been a cracking signing as well And been surprised as to how bloody good he is. Jones and Otesy have something about them. He just couldn't afford a C/H. Decent signings, and i don't think he would have signed purse if given the chance........ I'd just wish he would loosen the tactical side and let our squad play !
