Rianna enjoys proudest moment with SWFC

Rianna describes it as one of her "proudest achievements", when she went from being not only a lifelong Sheffield Wednesday season ticket holder but also a member of the club's staff.

The 28-year-old has a learning disability but has never let it prevent her from achieving her ambitions – with the help of her family and support provider Citizenship First.

Rianna's support team have been working with her since 2000 and have helped her to live as independent and happy a life as possible. She is supported with her finances, weekly shopping and housing, as well as being helped to find work opportunities.

She now attends SWFC on a regular basis working with the club's CSR Development Manager Spencer Taylor one afternoon each week.

Rianna said: "I really enjoy working at Sheffield Wednesday – the staff here are all really friendly and helpful. I am very grateful for being given the opportunity to work here."

A spokesperson for Citizenship First said: "It is hoped that we can continue to work together with SWFC to bring Rianna's opportunity of a lifetime to other people that are being supported by Citizenship First.
