Takeover and Wednesday making the headlines even in Norway

Recommended Posts

Sheffield Wednesday's problems are making headlines in Norway now, Norwegian TV-channel TV2 have a story about a norwegian takeover at Sheffield Wednesday.

It basically states the same as the sky sport story.

TV2 have tried to make contact with the spokesman in the rather unknown oilcompany IOR (I have never heard about it, but no oilexpert), the spokesman, Tom Bratlie, is also spokesman for another oilcompany, DNO. This company has done quite well at the stock exchange in Norway lately (meaning: has a lot of money). All these companies is owned by Berge Gerdt Larsen (involved in Hartlepool) Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNO_International

The last time norwegians tried their luck (and money) in an english club, it moved to a nowhere town and changed its name, do we really want norwegians having a go at sheffield wednesday?

Why? It doesn't matter what we think. If we knew beforehand it might scupper the deal, is that what you want?

I think this bullying has to stop!

I merely offered to try and get some info on the unknown companies and you wiped it in my face like a pudding!

Well i'm off to tell Lee on you and he will shoot you down "dude".

KAN FÅ NORSK EIER: Sheffield Wednesday kan bli kjøpt opp av norsk oljeselskap. På bildet: Darren Potter.

Let me guess....................

Sheffield Wednesday have a midfielder who is half man, half crab. His name: Darren Potter.

Thats at least a CGSEVD grade 4, innit.

Anyway off to get my horned viking hat off ebay for the county game, Skol.
