I know there are many who get fed up to flip of the attendence arguments between us and the blunts....

But to put our 23k for a league 1 game v D&R into perspective, that's only 3k less than the blunts got for their play-off semi final the season before last

Big club my ar5e

nar...can't go along with the pig baiting....i think the pigs are bigger than dagenham...

There weren't 600 away fans.

Only Leeds got a bigger crowd but there weren't nearly 23,000 Leeds fans there and they'd got an attractive game, the first after promotion. Will United get 23,000 next week?

I was stunned by our crowd today, and the atmosphere before ko and for 15 mins. It brought a lump to my throat, proud to be an Owl.

Amazing turnout considering what we had to put up with last season. When I walked up the steps and saw a packed Kop...nice mixture of surprise and pride.

What are sales for the Bury game so far James?

To be honest, I don't know at the moment - will look on Monday though.

Remember, it's a cup match, which are always quite low attendances.

Ok cool. Yeah it'll be a (relatively) rubbish attendance but I'm gonna sort some tickets on Monday, hoping to see Semi, Jones, Mellor, Heff, and maybe Palmer starting.

Yes todays attendance was great but we all know that it will dip atleast 2 or 3k for the next fixtures. we have a high numbers of fans who only attend first, last, boxing day and derby fixtures. Shame but i guess it is same for every club. Like the idiot to the left of me on the kop, going crazy he was. Screaming and abusing the fans because they was not joining in at times. Funny though how he held his hands up whilst singing. shame he was too drunk to notice he was holding his bottle of carling getting himself kicked out. One of his mates really should have told him to hide the drink. lol.

Against playing Paddy Kenny/Neil Warnock?

If not, that would be a bigger embarresment than the mini bus going down to Cardiff.

Very suprised with that attendance, very good when you consider there were maybe 450 away fans

Very close to my attendance prediction.

Perhaps its silly to underestimate our fans. Consider for example, last time we were in this league, we averaged the same (give or take 60 people) as last season's average attendance.

Did anyone see what was supposed to be their 'firm'?

I was walking near the park on the way to the ground, and about 25 of them were all singing and giving the 'i'm hard'

It was quite funny actually, they had a grand total of about 2 police officers escorting them.

Proper nawty.
