I really don't like Doncaster matches. They make games so boring for the opposition fans.

Oh well... good practice I guess.

Interesting. I'll be enjoying corporate hospitality at Doncaster Races on the same date.

Surprised that SY Police are allowing Rovers to play at home on a race day. I know it's only a friendly, but they don't usually allow the two to clash.

Doncaster town centre is always "busy" the night after a race meeting.

Just thinking the same thing, could be a very busy day for SYP.

Might go to that - Haven't been to Franchise Rovers new ground yet.

So Doncaster is the marquee friendly for pre-season?

Delightful

No.

Instead, Doncaster is one of a number of friendlies aimed at giving the new squad time to gel and give them competitive experience together in much needed preparation for the new season and getting back out of the division at the ealiest opportunity.
