BIG D
Indeed, Dean. Having said that, I do really want WBA to beat Palace, as I'll take any chance of staying up. Of course Daz - people are just being flippingdaft
Guest Bigals
Dont be fecking stupid How can relegation do any of us any favours Lets hope WBA win and we get the chance to stay up Whats annoying is how many teams are above us who have done the administration thing. We should have done years ago and then we could possibly compete with the cheats
BIG D
Is that a collective 'we' including fans and players? Cos the fans were up for it LAST Sunday if you remember... So Palace will beat WBA because their fans up for it then? flip me, it's a simple game eh?

Guest
This on Palace web site already..Think they will be up for it. Monday Night - A Win And We Are Safe Posted on: Sat 24 Apr 2010 Following Saturday's matches the maths is simple, a WIN on Monday night and Palace are safe from relegation. Watford got a vital win against Reading to move to 51 points whilst Sheffield Wednesday went down 3-2 at Cardiff with our home game to come against WBA on Monday night. So following today's results, a win on Monday can secure our Championship status before we travel to Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday 2nd May. Your support at this game is more important that at any other fixture here at Selhurst for many a year! Paul Hart and the team urge all Palace Supporters who can attend this fixture to do so. Good it means they'll come at us and we usually tear them sides apart. we've got something to play for these last two games and a player who won't want to see you relegated by his hand. After Monday your fate is yours again so with a bit of luck we will muller them for you, and knock their confidence Edited for missing s's Edited April 24, 2010 by Guest

nutty34
To be frank, we deserve to go down, Palace are only in the mix due to being in administration, the table does not lie we have been bad all season and deserve to be where we are, Palace on the other hand are not where they are because they are a bad footballing side and have been let down by poor club managgement. Palace are 'in the mix' because because they broke the flipping rules. They deserve to go down. FFS guys, don't kick flip out of our club just for the sake of it. Does not alter the fact that they are only in the mix because of financial circumstances, we on the other hand have been consistantly poo poo !!! Glaser
Dull, boring tactics, playing to not lose and not being bold enough to go for the win. 1 win and 2 losses are much better than 2 draws and 1 loss. If you set up not to lose then you can scrape draws - but you have to be really lucky to win. If you set up to win (even more so when you need to) then you might win 1 in 3, or perhaps more. Fortune favours the brave and how can anyone argue our tactics have been brave enough whilst we have been desperate for wins? A good manager can motivate players to play out of their skins - Big Jack and Big Ron proved that to be the case. The fact is we have chosen a coach and not a manager - we needed a shot of charisma to get our very poor team playing - and we simply didn't get it. Here we are, in a promised play-off challenging season, needing someone else to do us a favour with 1 game left. Unacceptable and terrible season even if we achieve a miracle. Absolute bob on This has been the epitaph that Irvine will leave on this season HE has relegated us. HIM with his infinite negativity. laws assembled an absolute car crash of a squad, but other managers would have been able to get more points out of them with a different approach

wisewoodowl
Cos our fans do not deserve to see that bunch of inept w@nkers get relegated at home. There is not a hope in hell that we would beat Palace to stay up. Said the same thing as we walked out of the ground this afternoon. I thought differently at Middlesborough and last Sunday, but today was dire. Just put us out of our misery and get this season over with.

DJMortimer
Personally thought we played well today - only let down by switching off when we scored each goal. Play like that (and don't switch off straight after we scored) and we'll beat Palace next Sunday. Are you kidding? Cardiff were strolling through our midfield at will and missed a number of good chances. At the other end however, a few long range efforts towards the end might look good in the statistics, but we hardly threatened their goal in a game we HAD to win.
