MalcyOwl
Plymouth winnin their game in hand on us tonight would put them two points behind us, and could see us going into last game in 23rd. Geordies only need a point tonight to be champions and leave WBA in second and mathematically impossible for them to win league. As it's looking like we need to beat Palace last game to stay up, we need Palace to get no more than a draw against West Brom so they stay within our reach. So basically, it's a longshot but West Brom can still win the league, by winning their last two games, but Newcastle have to lose all their three. I'm gona be cheering on Plymouth tonight so West Brom go all out to smash Palace (hopefully about 17-0...) as we really can't afford for Palace to beat West Brom. A Plymouth win though would keep hopes alive of them stayin up and they could go above us at the weekend. But have written Plymouth off as they will probably need to win all their three games (Newcastle (h), Forest (a), Peterboro (h)) and if we allow Plymouth to go above us, we really do deserve to drop! barmyowl1212
It would make sense for Plymouth to win as then West Brom have something to play for next monday depending if Newcastle lose on Saturday too. The above wont happen but we can dream
oh_weds_we_love_you
Be careful what you wish for. Plymouth are 5 points behind with a game in hand and Peterborough still to play - they can still catch us! Looking for a Newcastle win - WBA will still be up for doing Palace! MalcyOwl
True, Geordies will prob beat Ipswich (or even get draw) at St James' even if they do get beaten tonight. Fairly confident whatever team WBA field will be too strong for Palace. Mind you i thought that when they played Watford...

Guest Blue&WhiteBen
Newcastle to drub em WBA shouldn't need any more motivation to put palace away, they know they aren't realistically going to win the league either way
MalcyOwl
Thankfully, Watford are p*ss poor and WBA aren't I meant when Watford were beatin West Brom until Brunty's injurytime equalizer As long as we finish above Palace we should automatically finish above Plymouth also. Despite bein unpredictable league, Geordies n Baggies fairly reliable so Palace should get hammered and probably same happen to Plymouth tonight

We then go into the palace game knowing we have to win and even then that might not keep us up. Newcastle to hammer them please!
